The Support MaskUpdated 16 days ago

The Support Mask is a versatile treatment for compromised or irritated skin. Here are answers to common questions about how and when to use it.

Is The Support Mask suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes. The Support Mask has been assessed as suitable for sensitive skin through an independent, clinically controlled patch test. As with any new product, carry out a patch test before incorporating it into your routine.

Is The Support Mask suitable for eczema- or rosacea-prone skin?

The Support Mask is a fragrance-free formula designed to comfort sensitized skin and strengthen the skin barrier. It contains soothing actives to help calm redness and irritation.

If the skin is inflamed, irritated, or painful, avoid applying the product directly to those areas until the skin has recovered. If you are concerned about introducing a new product to sensitive skin, carry out a patch test before use.

Is The Support Mask suitable for all skin types?

Yes. The Support Mask can be used by all skin types, although it will be most beneficial for skin prone to dryness, sensitivity, and/or redness.

Do I need The Support Oil and The Support Mask?

The Support Oil is the default barrier product and the first recommendation for an impaired skin barrier. It is also suitable for everyday skin-barrier maintenance and all skin types.

The Support Mask is a quick fix for compromised skin. You can use both products together. If you do, use The Support Mask as a rinse-off mask.

Should I use with The Amplifier to boost The Support Mask?

Where does The Support Mask fit in my routine?

After cleansing, use The Support Mask in one of two ways:

  • As a rinse-off mask: Apply generously, leave on for 10 minutes, then rinse.
  • As an overnight mask: Apply as the last step of your evening skincare routine and leave on overnight.

Can I use The Support Mask in the morning?

Yes. If you are using it as a rinse-off mask, you can use it in the morning or evening. If you are using it as a leave-on mask, we recommend reserving it for evening use.

Do I need to use a moisturizer after leaving it on overnight?

How long should I leave it on?

Leave The Support Mask on for 10 minutes when using it as a rinse-off mask. Alternatively, leave it on overnight as the last step of your evening skincare routine.

How much should I use?

Apply The Support Mask generously. Use the “use this much” guide on the product lid as a guide to the recommended amount.

Can it help irritation caused by retinoids, acids, or over-exfoliation?
